two people talking on a benchThis module asks us to start thinking about how we might engage with community members around knowledge mobilization (KMb) and research projects. The module outlines key findings from the literature about community engagement within the research/KMb context, revisits the Lavis model from Module One with an emphasis on engagement, discusses some important considerations for community engagement and KMb work, highlights considerations for how a researcher/team might evaluate their community engagement work, and presents several real-world community engagement case studies.
