19 Using Whiteboard

MS Teams allows you to use the Whiteboard feature to communicate, share and organize ideas in a synchronous meeting. It can be an excellent way to get feedback with students, brainstorm new ideas and keep them engaged.

To achieve this:

  1. Select the Share icon
  2. Pick Whiteboard from the share tray

If you allow Other participants can edit (see the green arrow below) then any team member can interact with it, which can cause lag. When everyone is done working, you can save it by:

  1. Screenshotting the Whiteboard
  2. Exporting the Whiteboard as a PNG (shown below)
