Now you have a grasp on the concept of personhood and how it informs patient-centered care. You have reviewed key legislation that informs patients’ rights in Canada and in Ontario. Finally, you have learned about DIPPS protocol, which is intended to promote clients’ dignity, independence, preference (or choice), privacy and safety.
