2. Remembering and Commemorating the Holocaust

Module 5, Part Two:

This section examines various forms of remembering and commemorating the Holocaust in the contemporary world. It examines different historical events, such as the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, and the commemoration of these events, including through programs such as March of the Living. It explores the use of oral history, testimonies, and museums and memorials to preserve Holocaust memory. Related to survivor testimony, this section showcases testimonies from descendants of Holocaust survivors and the next generations. Lastly, this section examines the Holocaust as it’s represented in various forms of media and pop culture.
