Welcome to the Accessible Digital Content Training resource.

This Pressbook contains open-access text, image, and video-based training modules for creating accessible content within digital environments. This includes using content authoring programs such as the Microsoft Office 365 suite and Pressbooks platforms.

Each section has an optional self-assessment checkpoint for viewers who wish to check their learning progress.

Land Acknowledgement

McMaster sits on the traditional Territories of the Mississauga & Haudenosaunee Nations & within the lands protected by the Dish With One Spoon wampum agreement.

The agreement is also a covenant with Nature: take what you need, leave something in the dish for others & keep the dish clean.

We recognize that we have been participating at the University online, but still think that it is essential to recognize and acknowledge the indigenous lands upon which McMaster is situated as well as indigenous lands across Canada and that non-indigenous folks either occupy or have settled upon. McMaster and surrounding GTA areas are specifically occupying territories of the Haldimand Tract, which are currently governed by the Haldimand Treaty of 1784, running six miles deep from each side of the Grand River, beginning at Lake Erie.
