Validating your ePub
- There are two things that you need to check after your document has been converted, one is that your ePub is valid, this ensures that your ePub complies with the ISO standard and can be used in ePub readers. There are a number of ePub validators out there, and standard converters, such as Calibre or Word to ePub will validate before completion
ePub Accessibility Tool
- The second check is for accessibility. Daisy has created an Accessibility Assessment tool. It can be found at:

- This tool will check your ePub against the WCAG 2.0 standard to ensure you are compliant.

- One thing to note, I have tested epub conversion all three ways, and to date I have not been able to have my document pass using the assessment tool, except if I use their Word to ePub conversion tool.
