Some neurotransmitters are:

  • dopamine
  • serotonin –
  • norepinephrine
  • endogenous opioids (endorphin and enkephalin)
  • acetylcholine
  • endogenous cannabinoids (anandamide)
  • glutamate
  • gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA)
