Strategy: Listen for Examples
- Presenters often give examples to support their ideas.
- Examples are helpful for understanding.
- Listen for the words “for example” or “for instance”.
- You can use the abbreviation ex. or e.g.
- healthy restaurants
- ex. Freshii – salad
- ex. Subway – sandwich w/ veg
