Welcome to Module 1: Defining Online Education for You and Your Learners!

This module will serve as a foundation for the rest of the course, whether you’re brand new to online learning or you want to brush up on some skills.

  • In Chapter 1, we’ll take you through some terminology to make sure we’re all on the same page and introduce the concept of Constructive Alignment. This is useful for any learning experience, whether it’s online, in person, or anything in between!
  • Chapter 2 will highlight the importance of creating a plan based on your goals and the goals and needs of your learners.
  • Chapter 3 focuses on how to structure your content to create an online learning journey.
  • Finally, in Chapter 4, we’ll show you some steps to take to start transforming a traditional course into an effective and engaging digital learning experience for your learners.
