Expectations
As OER Assistants, it was expected that you would be familiar with APA at Conestoga when you applied for this role. You have probably used APA at some point in your classes already. You are not expected to become experts overnight. However, there will be a few things you will be expected to assist with including checking references for accuracy and correctness, reviewing the formatting of images, figures, and tables, and checking for grammar and spelling errors. Always check with the creator you are working with if there are any exceptions to standard APA 7th edition formatting with Canadian spelling.
