5. Working Through the Cycle of Self-Regulated Learning

There are many tools and frameworks that we can use to guide us through the process of developing self-regulation skills as learners. One example is the cycle of self-regulated learning, which we can use as university students.

This activity will help you approach an upcoming assignment or learning task, from start to finish, as a self-regulated learner by helping you build a plan of action, monitor your performance, evaluate your outcome, and reflect on your learning so that you can identify helpful insights and use them going forward.
