Asynchronous, A synchronous, Synchronous Learning

As we prepare to take on some challenges in our own professional development as teachers, we remind ourselves that our students, and consequently our teaching, gets carried out in various media.  We find ourselves enduring existential angst due to the virtual nature in which our little islands are but spittle in an endless stream of hexadecimal information.
