Day 2: Asynchronous Activities

We find ourselves in the “in-between” time again. This time, you should be spending most of the week preparing your asynchronous mini-lesson, which will likely be a pre-recorded video, an article with some activity, or something else that should take the learner 10 minutes to complete. We know you can’t fully know how long something will take an individual, but estimate to the best of your ability, so it is fair to all (“fair” being questionably subjective here).

The Primer on Online Learning might help a bit with this, but also check out the links and ideas for how to record and things to consider.

LESSONS ARE DUE 4pm on Tuesday (slightly flexible)

  • Post in the small group Teams channel and @ the channel (e.g., @Small Group – Ashlyne) to make sure everyone gets the notification
    • Indicate which feedback form you would like (see the next page in this book for the options)
  • Look at the Teams channel to find your colleagues’ submissions
  • Review your colleagues’ mini-lessons and follow the link to their feedback form
  • Please complete your feedback forms by 12pm on Friday (so they are done before we meet and do the feedback circles)
