He/Him

Luke is heading into his second year of the inclusive design program. His research interest includes a blend of education technology and design. Working full time at the University of Toronto, his focus is on staff and adult training and development. He will completing his Master’s in Educational technology alongside the Inclusive design program by next spring. His research ideas are from his experience with student diversity on campus, their exhibitions, projects and many ideas showcased through the years on career pathways and wellness. He takes that inspiration and looks to bring in more diversity into education when it comes to various disability groups. Hence, his MRP focus is on the theme of educating others or lighting a flame to start real movement into the disability space while educating others on how to activate and foster interest in astronomy for the visually impaired and eventually STEM programs as a whole.

With prior interest in astronomy and sciences and after all the schooling is done, Luke will focus on musical orchestral compositions which is next on the list  perhaps merging music with education and design in some form. Luke has been composing for the last 10 years on the side, however not at a level of professionalism as his peers.
