Mike
Introduction
Born in India, Mike is someone who continuously searches for new experiences like his move from Dubai to Toronto. For many years he worked in human resources but now takes on new challenges through a growing small family business.
In his interview, Mike shares his life journey from growing up in various parts of India, to his first international move to Dubai and eventually to Toronto, reflecting on life in Canada and the challenges and opportunities there. Mike discusses the transition of retiring from his career into helping his son start a small business. He describes the advice that he would give his younger self, saying that it is important to push beyond one’s comfort zone in order to grow, and emphasizing the importance of having empathy for others. He then provides advice to the current generation of young people, inspiring them to solve complex problems by choosing wisely which of the world’s key problems to try and help address.
