“The Safe Pharmacy” virtual simulation game is a teaching and learning resource the provides learners with an opportunity to apply principles of customer services and safety as they analyze and make decisions in a realistic community-based pharmacy setting .  The game can be played by individuals online, in small groups or in a large classroom setting.

This virtual gaming simulation combines the learning concepts of serious gaming and simulation-based learning. The debriefing questions are designed to promote deeper learning and analysis in learners, through self-reflection,  small group and/or large group discussion. Debriefing activities following virtual gaming simulation optimizes the learning experience associated with this teaching modality
