Tracking of Clinical Hours
In compliance with Accreditation Standards, each student must achieve the following hours at a clinical setting.
- Clinical/fieldwork education includes a minimum of 500 hours in the clinical setting.
- Clinical/fieldwork education includes no less than 30% (150 hrs) of the total time in OTA.
- Clinical/fieldwork education includes no less than 30% (150 hrs) of the total time in OTA.
To ensure students are on track to meet accreditation standards, we ask that they track their daily OT and PT hours. At the end of each week it is expect that preceptors will verify and sign off on the recorded hours.
