Practical Skills Reflective Assignment

Purpose of this reflective tool is:

• To monitor participation and competency level in practical (treatment) skills during fieldwork placements. 
• To assist in the development of learning (SMART) goals and achievements during clinical experiences and for future placements.
• To identify gaps in learning, by students/Clinical Supervisors, and if possible at facility, explore opportunities to practice skills.

The items on this worksheet are meant to reflect the wide scope of practice for OTA’s and PTA’s. It is not expected that any one placement will be able to provide experiences in all of the practical skills listed.
