Asynchronous learning: Teaching activities that happen according to the learner’s schedule. Each student works at their own convenience, based on the material provided in advance by the professor.
Distance learning: Teaching method in which courses are conducted online or by correspondence, without the student needing to be physically present on campus.
E-learning: Teaching method in which courses are conducted via electronic media using information and communication technologies.
Game-based learning: Developing or using games which help students learn.
Gamification of learning: Introducing game elements or mechanics into teaching.
Remote teaching: Teaching that occurs outside of a physical classroom.
Synchronous learning: Teaching activities that happen live. Professors and students interact in real time.
