Part 2: Active Learning for Science and Mathematics

To assist teachers in becoming familiar with using science and math resources for active learning, this section focuses on virtual labs and simulations. This section introduces Open Educational Resources (OER) as well as touches on paid vendors of science virtual labs. It also explains the benefits of using virtual science labs and simulations for teaching and learning and provides sample learning activities.
