By the end of this unit, you will be able to:
- Identify the characteristics of Action Research (AR) and Participatory Action Research (PAR).
- Explore issues that might be investigated using AR and PAR in the academic environment.
- Design a research project using the characteristics of PAR and AR.
- Practice vocabulary related to the topic of Action Research.
- Identify main ideas, supporting details, opinions and implied meanings in reading passages, conversations among four international students and talks given by subject matter experts.
- Reflect on positive changes resulting from AR and PAR projects in the academic environment.
