Learning Outcomes

By the end of this unit, you will be able to:

  •  Identify generational characteristics based on the information given about each generation.
  •  Compare and contrast the characteristics of each generation in various contexts including the academic environment.
  •  Explore the misunderstandings that might arise among different generations and ways of resolving these misunderstandings.
  •  Practice vocabulary related to the topic of Generational Differences.
  •  Identify main ideas, supporting details, opinions and implied meanings in reading passages and in conversations between international students.
  •  Offer possibilities and solutions based on generational characteristics in work-place scenarios.
