In order to be successful at networking, you have to be willing to pull up your own boots. Take a chance and reach out to students in your course and program to connect. Conestoga College makes Microsoft Teams available to all students through the Office 365 link on the IT Home Page. You can create Teams groups and invite your peers to collaborate and study together. Be careful about using WhatsApp and other social media as collaboration spaces with peers. Teams is supported by the College and historic data can be accessed in case of bullying or harassment.

Conestoga Students Inc. is your Student Government page and group. You will find a ton of great information about your student leaders, fun in-person and virtual events on campus, and how you can be more involved and have a voice in College policies and practices. Check out the Frequently Asked Questions page on this site.

The Conestoga College Student Engagement page provides many ideas and opportunities to become more connected with other students, the Conestoga regional community, and your community – wherever you are. Explore all the tabs on the site to find out more. If you have ideas for how to enrich your online learning experience, make sure to share them with the Student Engagement team – they are always looking to learn new ways to support student social well-being and connection.

Depending on your background and identity, there are several supportive social groups at Conestoga to help you feel more connected and to help you engage in advocacy if needed. Using the links below you can explore some of these groups that include:
