1.2 Type of experience eligible for PLAR

Work,  volunteer, or training in any field (paid or unpaid)

Creative work, such as writing, design, demonstrations, or performances

Self-study, such as learning new technology, travel and language study, or starting a business

Caring for others, including parenting, elder care, or supporting someone with a disability

Military or public service training, including service in the regular forces, reserves, cadets, or as an employee

Cultural and traditional learning within First Nations, Métis, or Inuit knowledge systems and communities
