Library Services

Email, call, or chat with library staff for help finding information & resources for your courses and assignments. Get support with citing your information correctly using APA and avoid plagiarism by giving credit for the information that you use. Visit the Libraries website and/or book an appointment with the Librarian for your program for more in-depth research assistance.

Learning Strategists

Develop active learning strategies for reading, note-taking, and test preparation.  Meet with a Learning Strategist to create an individualized learning plan to help you be successful.

For the Pharmacy Technician Program, there are open online labs for PHAR210 Aseptic Technique Principles I and PHAR214 Institutional Dispensing 1. Please see your timetable for open lab schedules as these labs are made available to provide students with the opportunity for further assistance.

Math Strategists

The Learning Centre offers many services to assist students with their math courses. For more information and to book an appointment visit the Learning Centre at library.centennialcollege.ca/learning-centre/math-services.

Peer Tutors

If you’re having trouble with any of your courses, you can take part in our peer tutoring program, which lets you get help from trained students who are in high academic standing.

English Tutors

The Centre for Academic English (CAE) provides free English tutoring and workshops for all current Centennial students.

Centennial Advising and Pathways Services (CAPS) has friendly and knowledgeable staff who can advise you on important information and resources throughout your college experience.

Centre for Accessible Learning and Counselling Services

The Centre for Accessible Learning and Counselling Services (CALCS) provides a range of programs and services aimed to empower students in meeting their wellness goals, accommodation and disability-related needs, and creating a more accessible campus community. Services include

  • discussing functional limitations related to a disability, your strengths, and supports available to ensure equitable access to the Centennial learning environment, such as
    • learning strategies you can use to enhance your academic success,
    • adaptive technology supports, and/or
    • academic accommodations;
  • peer supports, including specialized tutoring support and/or peer note-taking for students with disabilities; and
  • ATOMS (Accessible Testing Online Management System) online test booking system.
