Program Requirements

As per Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs (CCAPP) requirements, students must complete the Pharmacy Technician Program within 4 years of admission (Criterion 3.4 Graduates complete the Program within 4 years of admission).

In addition, the Pharmacy Technician Program upholds the principles from The National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities (NAPRA), Principles of Professionalism and from provincial regulatory body, The Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP), the Code of Ethics. Both mirrors the behaviors and attitudes reflective of both pharmacy technician students and graduates.

Course Requirements – Course Outlines

Course outlines specify relevant course learning outcomes to be achieved and assessments that measure achievement of that learning. Course outlines also offer a general description of the course, its content, requirements, and required learning resources (e.g., textbooks, equipment/materials).
