Program Overview
As a Digital Technologies student, you will continuously be engaged in a blend of synchronous and asynchronous learning while you are in the workplace.
We accomplish Experiential Learning with a combination of:
- Foundation Block – students are set up to succeed both academically and professionally (first three weeks of year one)
- Half-day per week off from work to focus on self-study via online virtual platforms such as webinars, lectures, or tutorials.
*In addition, students are expected to spend non-work time completing their course work. - Academic Courses Curriculum – students will continuously be engaged in a blend of synchronous and asynchronous learning (4 hours a week)
- Learning Block – students will integrate theory conceptualization, experimentation and reflection (one week, twice a term)
- Workplace Experience – students will receive continuous support and guidance through a robust student support system, including a Faculty, Course Director, and Professional Skills Coach as they gain concrete experience in the workplace.
