Although the Digital Technologies program does not require that you have previous technical experience, it will help your job applications if you are able to demonstrate your STEM aptitude. The resources below are examples of places where you can strengthen your understanding of digital technology concepts. This can also be helpful during the interview process; not all employers will require the same level of aptitude. The job posting details will help you understand what the employer is looking for in terms of technical knowledge.

Languages you will learn in year 1 of the Digital Technologies program

• Python and Java
• Web programming in the summer, HTML/CSS and JavaScript, plus some ReactJS which is a framework based on JavaScript.
