Tip 8: Avoid special signs or symbols when possible
In addition to using letters and numbers, some languages also include special symbols that can replace words. For example, many currencies also have special symbols, such as $ for dollar or ¢ for cent. However, not all languages use the same character sets, so if someone uses an automatic translation tool to translate a text from one language to another, the special characters in the original text might not be part of the character set in the target language. This could cause the automatic translation tool to produce an error code. Therefore, when possible, use words or letter-based options instead of symbols.
