At McMaster University, a Reflection Workshop has been developed for first year engineering students. We would like to share the workshop resources, including samples of slides, students handout, evaluation tips, and sample of rubric, with educators who would want to create the same workshop at their institutions. One of the handouts focuses on Teamwork as an experience to reflect on, the the other one walks students through reflecting on design thinking process by some guided question.
At McMaster, we also have a set of self-reflection assignments for graduating students who participate in the final year capstone design course.
