In this module, you learned about your role as a professor, which includes:
- Upholding human rights and preventing protected areas and grounds from discrimination, harassment, and exclusion
- Protecting student privacy and confidentiality, and understanding student’s freedom of information
- Supporting accessibility and providing students with accommodations to which they are entitled
- Treating all students with dignity and respect, and sharing responsibility with students to manage disabilities
- Delivering outcomes-based education, including teaching and assessment
- Being the “manager of the classroom” to provide a safe and positive learning environment for students
