Conclusion

You have now learned the basics about what Psychological and Cultural Safety are and how they impact every workplace! You have reviewed how the ideas of trust and safety intersect, and how important they are to a workplace that is safe and inclusive for its employees. We have also explored how Psychological and Cultural Safety are particularly important for marginalized groups and specifically Indigenous employees. When a work environment in culturally and psychologically safe, Indigenous employees are able work in in an environment that is built on trust and understanding. When a workplace is safe for all employees, both organizations and individuals are able to thrive!
