8 Framed Equations and Formulas

To generate equations that are framed, one can use:

  • \boxed command
  • \fbox command

Using \fbox everything of inline math can be framed.

Example: Mathematical Equations

a) Using the \boxed command

[latex]\boxed{{FV=PMT\left[\frac{(1+i)^{n}-1}{i}\right]}}[/latex]

[latex]\boxed{{FV=PMT\left[\frac{(1+i)^{n}-1}{i}\right]}}[/latex]

b) Using the \fbox command
[latex]\fbox{$FV=PMT\left[\frac{(1+i)^{n}-1}{i}\right]$}[/latex]
[latex]\fbox{$FV=PMT\left[\frac{(1+i)^{n}-1}{i}\right]$}[/latex]
