Academic Integrity

Fanshawe College defines Academic Integrity as holding oneself and others accountable for performing academic work honestly and ethically.

Academic Integrity is important because it:

  • Ensures fairness in education pursued, academic work completed, and grades earned;
  • Protects the value of degrees, diplomas, and certificates; and
  • Reinforces Fanshawe College’s reputation.

Review the Academic Offences Process (PDF) for more details, as well as the Services & Supports for Faculty PDF for the range of help available. For additional information and resources for faculty and students, please visit the Academic Integrity website on Fanshawe’s Library Learning Commons.
