Intimate Relationships: PSYC 3730H
Professor: Terry Humphreys
Major Assignment: Intimate Relationship Research Essay
Minor Assignment (Case study): Case Study 2
Intimate relationships has always been a personal interest of mine. The topics covered in this course are easily relatable to one’s one life, and I was no exception. This course facilitated thoughts around my family, friends, and significant others. At times I felt I could even draw conclusions on my own behavioral interactions and how I acted in certain relationships following evidence presented by my instructor.
In the middle of this course (literally mid-lecture) I was afflicted by an expanding appendix, which resulting in missing a chunk of this class. I felt that I did not give this course content as much consideration as I would have liked, as this was a topic I found personally interesting. However, of all my psychology undergraduate courses I feel that I recall the highest quantity of tidbits from this class. The information that sticks is what you see in your life, and as a twenty year old university student – there were plenty of intimate relationships around for me to ponder.
