What is Learning Analytics?

Learning analytics is an area of research and practice that involves the measurement, collection, analysis, and reporting of learning data with the aim of better understanding and improving learning experiences.[1] A key component of Learning Analytics involves providing relevant and timely information to teachers, students, designers, and administrators to support better decision-making.[2]
