1 Mission and Values

Mission

At the Inclusive Education Research Lab, we are dedicated to designing, conducting, and disseminating meaningful and rigorous research that informs policy and practice in higher education within three broad domains: open educational practices, inclusive teaching, and ethical approaches to educational technologies.

Values

We believe that higher education reaches its transformative potential when it is committed to equitable access, supports inclusion, fosters a sense of belonging, and is designed with justice in mind. Our work focuses on ensuring that education serves as a force for positive change, particularly for students and scholars from historically, persistently, or systemically marginalized groups. We strive to create an educational and scholarly environment where every individual can thrive, learn, and contribute to a more just and inclusive world.
