Macht nichts!

When someone is apologizing to you, they can say “Entschuldigung!” (which means both ‘excuse me’, ‘apologies’) or ‘Es tut mir leid!‘ (which means “it causes pain to me”, i.e. “I am sorry!”).

“Es tut mir leid!” is often used in the shorter form: “Es Tut mir leid!“
