Volunteering
Volunteering is a great way for you to learn new skills, meet new people, and improve your resume. It’s also a genuinely important and meaningful way to make the community in which we live, work, and learn better.
If you are looking to expand your volunteer involvement off-campus, there are dozens of local non-profit and charitable organizations who could use your help in some way, whatever your existing skillset may be. Three excellent websites to find community volunteer opportunities are WEVolunteer, Volunteer Canada, and CharityVillage.
