Book Title: The Homeric Hymns to Apollo and Hermes In Contemporary Translation/Adaptation
Edited by Adam Rappold
Translated by Adam Rappold and Shakeel Ahmed

Book Description: A translation of the Homeric Hymns to Apollo and to Hermes intended for starting University students or those with a casual interest in Greek mythology. Rather than prioritizing the word order of ancient Greek as many older translations do[intending to serve as a guide for those who will one day translate the Greek themselves] our translation prioritizes communicating the meaning, interpretation, and emotional power of the hymn. Rather than require footnotes, this translation also incorporates all of the required information in the text as part of the narrative (clearly marked in brackets), to aid in an uninterrupted reading experience.
