Teaching empathy is a journey.

What words come to mind when you think of empathy? What does this word or concept mean to you personally and/or professionally? Is empathy something you consciously think about when you plan a course or learning activity? Do you consider the relationality of empathy as both a giver and receiver? We encourage you to consider these questions, which we will revisit at the end of this module, as you explore Module 1’s content.
