Community First: Impacts of Community Engagement Project

Carleton University’s Geri Briggs and Peter Andrée began the Community First: Impacts of Community Engagement Project (CFICE) with the goal of answering the question “How can community campus partnerships be designed and implemented to maximize the value created for non-profit, community-based organizations?” From 2012-2015, the CFICE focused on poverty reduction, violence against women, community food security, and community environmental sustainability by creating hubs for each respective area. Each hub funds collaborative projects and research support with community partners. Check out Community First to learn more.
