Book Description: The Conestoga English Language Reader (CELR) is a collection of readers for the Conestoga English Language Program. CELR1 is appropriate for high beginner English language learners. The vocabulary lists are a combination of high frequency and academic words. The articles included in this series are based on various topics relevant to the newcomer experience in Ontario, Canada. They are meant to educate, entertain, and inspire the reader as they start their language learning journey.
