Definitions

Students and educators in Ontario interact with technology in a variety of ways. Because technology can create barriers for some people with disabilities, it is important to make sure that technology is accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. This means identifying and removing barriers for people with disabilities proactively and make sure that teaching and learning practices are accessible and equitable to people with a range of abilities and disabilities.
