About Me….
Hello! My name is Adewale Omolola, a Registered Practical Nurse and year 1 – semester 1 Compressed nursing student at Trent University, Peterborough campus in Peterborough, Ontario. I grew up in Nigeria before immigrating to Canada in the year 2020 at the heat of COVID-19 pandemic. I feel honored to be a student at the Trent University, and I pride myself on being enrolled in such a challenging, inspiring, and unique program. One of my main long term educational goals is to go for the NP program after my Bachelors of nursing studies. Currently the province and country at large are pushing for nursing students to complete their program and be readily available for work due to the shortage of nurses being experienced across board. Completion of the BSN nursing program will equip me with the foundational knowledge, skill and judgement required to provide competent and quality care for my patients in line with the CNO standards. Once I complete my RN program, I would like to continue my nursing education as my long-term goal is to become a Nurse practitioner and educator.
