Communicating Consistently

This area more specific to settings that produce a look and feel. In your groups, you may choose to discuss appearance more broadly. For example, your group may:

  • Consider what’s missing.
  • Choose to sketch out a chapter’s look and feel e.g., perhaps there is a go-to resource whose layout would be beneficial to replicate.
  • Peruse or recall other textbooks to note benefits.
  • Included are general guidelines for consistency. Your discipline likely has a nomenclature to follow. Knowing your discipline’s standard for communication is important.

Although much of the style in communication for your curating and creating will be formatted as you follow accessibility guidelines, we will complement these with other style decisions to provide a consistent look and feel forĀ Open at Scale resources.
