Reflect and Record

A key part of learning is reflecting on and recording your progress. Below you will see three (3) reflection questions to get you thinking. After taking some time to consider, complete the reflection activity below. In this activity, you will be able to gather, record, and export your thoughts to keep track of your learning progress. We encourage you to use this tool as a means of gauging both your personal and professional development.

  1. Why do you think it is important to distinguish between the different types of organizations within the not-for-profit sector?
  2. Why do you think it is important to distinguish between the different types of volunteers within the not-for-profit sector?
  3. During the presentation, many suggestions for motivating and engaging volunteers were mentioned.  Which of these suggestions are the most meaningful to you and/or within your organizational context?
