Reflect and Record

A key part of learning is reflecting on and recording your progress. Below you will see three (3) reflection questions to get you thinking. After taking some time to consider, complete the reflection activity below. In this activity, you will be able to gather, record, and export your thoughts to keep track of your learning progress. We encourage you to use this tool as a means of gauging both your personal and professional development.

Reflection activity

  1. Why is joint project planning an important part of the process when engaging in an Employer-Supported volunteer activity?
  2. What might be some of the important things to discuss between partners and why?
  3. What are the advantages of finding and working with an employer whose mission aligns with the non-profit organization? How might this benefit both parties?
