An Intro to my Journey

My name is Vanessa. I am in my first year at Trent University working to gain my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree to become a Registered Nurse. In this book I will take you along with me through my learning journey.

I have previously completed college to become a Registered Practical Nurse. I have been working on an acute medical unit for the past 2 years now. I also completed a new graduate guarantee program to help me become more comfortable and confident in my nursing practice.

After I complete my program at Trent University I have hopes to go back to school for my Masters and become a Nurse Practitioner or complete my Masters in something else. I have also considered completing smaller certificates to specialize somewhere such as oncology or the operating room. I am still indecisive on what I would like to do after I am done school but I still have time to make a decision. This is also a reason on why I chose to go back to school, so I can have more choices to expand my nursing career and always have the choice  with multiple options for learning and expand my experience.
