Where to Find Help for BetterExaminations
BetterExaminations Official Support Resources
BetterExaminations provides official support to its users through the integrated intercom support chat within the BetterExaminations web application and BetterExaminations official documentation.
Integrated Support Chat
To access the integrated support chat:
Step 1: Access the University of Windsor BetterExaminations ( opens new window ) from Blackboard as shown in the Sign-in chapter of this eBook. If you are successful, you will be greeted with your BetterExaminations (BE) dashboard.
Step 2: Once you have successfully logged in, look for the support chat icon on the bottom right of the screen. The icon looks like this:
Step 3: A new small panel should appear on the left-hand side of the screen. Within that panel, click the Send us a message button. This will initiate the support chat where you can send messages directly to BetterExaminations support.
Step 4: Type inquiries or issues you have about BetterExaminations in the chat text field near the bottom of the panel. Once you are done, click the send button on the right (it looks like an arrow) or press the Enter key on your keyboard.
BetterExaminations Official Documentation
You can access the official BE documentation by going to the BetterExaminations Documentation website (https://docs.betterexaminations.com/). You can type keywords relating to the particular topic you wish to view in the search box near the top.
University of Windsor BetterExaminations Resources
The University of Windsor’s Office of Open Learning provides some support for BetterExaminations. If an instructor has any questions about BetterExaminations that isn’t on BE support page or consultation about assessment design, visit the Office of Open Learning BetterExaminations( opens new window ) web page, or email us at ooltech@uwindsor.ca.
You can view some basic FAQs about BetterExaminations near the bottom of the webpage. All you need to do is click one of the questions to expand the drop-down item and view the Office of Open Learning’s response.
